crankshaft pulley

hi, is the crankshaft pulley on a 200tdi defender engine that runs thee power steering pump the same as the discovery engine crankshaft that runs thee air con. dd

there are 2 versions

1 with 3 grooves for V belts which can drive the PAS Pump seperate belt in forward groove, Alternator & Water pump sharing a belt in rear groove, Air condition pump belt in centre groove.

IIRC most Defender spec 200tdi came with a 3 groove pulley as standard [mine did]

1 with 2 grooves which can drive PAS pump on a seperate belt, water pump & alternator sharing a belt

Defender & Discovery 200tdi pullies have different part numbers
